I admit to having a problem. If it's a reference book, I have to own it. These are the books in my To Be Read pile, which should not be confused with the books on my ereader. I read fiction as ebooks, mostly because I'm running out of shelf space. If it's something I'll read twice, then yes, I will buy the physical book.
Problem.
I was raised by a teacher. I was always allowed to buy whatever books I wanted. My husband does not share this philosophy. His primary objection is that he's the one who has to move them, and the boxes are either plentiful or heavy, depending on how they're packed. Again. Yes. I have a problem.
As I get older, it occurs to me that there are a lot of things that interest me that I know nothing about. Since the mind is apparently the first thing to go (or so my kids tell me) I feel obligated to get in as much educational reading as possible before my brain deteriorates.
Feel free to explore my Reading Corner as I work my way through the books I can't wait to read. My ebooks show up there, too.
What's in your TBR pile, and what motivates you to pick up a book?
